Stool consistency is based on the interaction of countless colonies of microorganisms living in the intestines.
- The intestinal flora depends, among other things, on the food we consume. Human stool results from this activity and is composed primarily of water, abundant intestinal bacteria, mucous membrane cells and digestive secretions. Stool also contains undigested fibre and fermentation or putrefaction products (organic acids, biogenic amines etc.). Water is removed from the stool in the large intestine. The intestinal peristalsis depends on the firmness of the stool and the amount of fiber consumed.
- According to the latest findings, a communication system exists between the complex, highly independent nervous system of the gastrointestinal tract, the so-called "enteric nervous system" (abdominal brain) and the brain.
No. 12 Otto:
- Contains the trace element zinc. Zinc was added to a base of blueberry and raspberry leaves that contains tannins. Walnut shells and oak bark are also included in the recipe, as well as artichokes and milk thistle. Zinc contributes to normal fatty acid metabolism, normal carbohydrate metabolism and normal protein synthesis. Zinc also contributes to a normal functioning immune system, the protection of cell components from oxidative damage and a normal acid-base metabolism.
Important:
- Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Keep out of the reach of children. The specified daily consumption quantity must not be exceeded.
Recommended daily intake:
- Take 2 capsules a day
Capsule shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose
- Out of consideration for customers who are vegetarians or vegans, we chose cellulose for the capsule shells.
- The cellulose is processed in such a way that it softens and becomes porous in the stomach or when it comes into contact with moisture, so that the contents of the capsule can be released.
- The cellulose is not digested but excreted as "fibre".
