Description
German packaging: Magen-Stabil
Stable Stomach was specially developed for sensitive horses that are increasingly prone to stomach and intestinal problems, colic and gastric ulcers. The holistically coordinated ingredients can support the faster regeneration of damaged gastric mucosa and counteract the development of stomach ulcers.
Additionally, Stable Stomach contains a natural acid buffer that promotes regular digestion and reduces the risk of colic and digestion-related issues with loose stool. Stomach Stable is ideally suited for horses with sensitive stomachs and chronic stomach problems. It can be permanently added to your horse's diet.
The most common causes of stomach ulcers and digestive problems:
- Horses continuously produce stomach acid. The saliva that is automatically generated when they chew serves as a natural acid buffer that neutralises the stomach acid. However, since horses only produce sufficient saliva while they are chewing, when they are not chewing, they may have an imbalance of acidity in their stomachs, leading to a concentration. The sensitive gastric mucosa is attacked, increasing chances of developing colic and various stomach and digestive problems as well as ulcers.
- Other factors responsible for stomach issues and digestive problems or gastric ulcers, can be caused by feed errors, taking too long between periods of feeding, too little roughage, too much concentrate, poor feed quality and overdoses of medication. Stomach and digestive issues can also be caused by increased stress caused by changing stables, stress in the herd, a change in feed, or stress due to transport or competitions.
The valuable ingredients in STABLE STABILITY
- The natural linseeds used in this recipe contain the natural linseed oil and thus the omega-3 fatty acids linseeds are known for. The mucus-forming ingredients support intestinal activity and the regeneration of the intestinal mucosa. They have a regulating effect on the intestines and reduce the risk of colic, diarrhoea or constipation. Furthermore, natural linseeds contain a special prebiotic, valuable vitamin E, and the amino acid lysine in a balanced, natural ratio. Since natural linseed has a very good energy balance due to the high oil content, this valuable vital substance supports the convalescence of the entire stomach and intestinal area as well as weight gain in horses, who often lose a lot of weight due to stomach problems.
- In addition to vitamins, mineral salts and essential oils, fennel contains a large number of digestive vital substances. Estragol, anisaldehyde and flavonoids have a positive effect on the movement (peristalsis) of the gastrointestinal tract, reduce bloating and are at the same time antispasmodic.
- Sodium bicarbonate successfully supports the neutralisation of stomach acid and protects agains acidification.
- Chamomile has a particularly calming effect on the gastric mucosa and entire digestive tract. Chamomile flowers counter inflammation and relieve stomach cramps and flatulence.
- Algae lime is obtained from the sea algae Lithothamnium calcareum and is an ideal vegetable, purely organic gastric acid buffer. It protects against excessive acid concentration in the stomach and in the entire digestive tract, reducing the risk of inflammation and stomach ulcers. Furthermore, algae lime has an optimal bioavailability of the naturally contained micronutrients and thus ensures a supply of organic minerals and trace elements.
- Magnesium supports a large number of enzymatic processes in the breakdown and digestion of proteins, which are taken up in the course of normal feeding. If an adequate supply of magnesium is guaranteed during digestion, the production of stomach acid is automatically reduced. As a result, the amount of acid in the stomach and in the entire digestive tract noticeably decreases. Already stressed or inflamed gastric mucous membranes can regenerate better due to the reduced acidity and at the same time the risk of stomach ulcers is reduced. Magnesium is also used to strengthen the nerves and thus counteracts stress-related stomach problems.
- The humic acid contained in Cellu-Ligno-Carbon-Isolat is a purely organic vital substance, which is mainly obtained from brown coal or peat. After ingestion in the horse's stomach, it forms a protective layer on the gastric mucosa. This protective layer protects against infections of already loaded gastric mucous membranes and sustainably supports their regeneration. In addition, humic acid restores normal bowel activity, promotes the formation of healthy villi and has a lasting effect on general digestive problems.
- The use of calamus as a natural remedy for gastric and intestinal disorders originated in the early Egyptian era. Calamus has a digestive effect, eliminates flatulence, is antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory. Furthermore, calamus is appetizing and successfully counteracts digestion problems such as constipation or diarrhea.
- Liquorice root is one of the most important medicinal plants for stomach ulcers and gastric mucosal diseases in Chinese medicine. It contains purely natural active ingredients that counteract or reduce inflammation in the stomach. Liquorice root also protects the gastric mucosa and relieves stomach cramps.
