Description
Irish Mash is a specially developed recipe with good acceptance and is ideal as a first meal after colic, surgery and during convalescence. The traditional recipe of wheat bran and linseed can also be fed in case of loss of appetite or chewing problems. For better feed absorption and easier weight gain.
Yellow linseed is gently cracked in a special process which enables the mash to also be prepared with cold water (no cooking necessary). For optimal support with digestion, macerated cereals are combined with coriander and brewer's yeast and the starch content is very low.
- Ideal for feeding after colic, surgery, during convalescence
- In case of chewing problems or loss of appetite
- During regeneration after competitions, mating and delivery
- During the change of coat
- For weight gain
Feeding recommendation:
- Stir approx. 70-200 g per 100 kg body weight with 1.5 to 2 times the amount of warm/hot water. Offer after approx. 15 min. swelling time.
- It can also be prepared with cold water, in which case the swelling time increases to approx. 30 min.
- Offer 3-4 times a week. If necessary, a reduced amount can also be offered daily.
- 1 litre corresponds to approx. 550 g.
