Worth knowing: Native to Europe and parts of Asia, valerian was already used in the Middle Ages because of its strong aroma. Essential oils, alkaloids and some other ingredients in the valerian root have a muscle-relaxing and anxiety-relieving effect. The soothing effect on the central nervous system and irritated nerves helps with states of tension and is also often used for sleep disorders. The southern European plant lemon balm was already indispensable for folk medicine in earlier years: With a slightly lemon-like smell, it is also often referred to as "lemon balm" and is mainly used in the relief of restlessness, irritability and nervous complaints. Chamomile is a very popular medicinal plant in Europe and a universal talent: in addition to its antibacterial and muscle-relaxing effects, it also ensures mental and emotional serenity.

Feeding recommendation:
Add 1 tablespoon per 100kg bodyweight to the feed daily and feed for 3-4 weeks to compensate for deficiencies caused by feeding. Doping advice: Contains herbs (goldenrod, valerian root, lemon balm, chamomile), whose use in equestrian sports requires waiting times. When feeding sport horses, observe a 48-hour waiting period.
