Description
The warm mash meal is widely described and has been a tried and tested “home remedy” of the stable masters for centuries.
Marstall Mountain-Mash is the grain-free alternative to classic mash. Made on the basis of gently warm air-dried Allgäu hay chaff. With valuable mucilage. Brewer's yeast, aromatic natural herbs and tasty apple pomace round off the high-quality recipe of the grain-free Marstall Mountain-Mash perfectly.
Marstall Mountain-Mash is free from molasses, flavorings, minerals and vitamins.
As a warm, grain-free mash meal in winter, the mountain meadow mash is always a great change. Due to the additional water supply, the mountain meadow mash is also recommended as a cool refreshment in summer.
Feeding recommendation (mash/day):
- Small horse / pony approx. 0.20 - 0.40kg
- Whole blood approx. 0.40 - 0.80kg
- Warm blood approx. 0.80 - 1.00kg
Preparation:
Depending on the breed and weight of the horse: Mix approx. 1.0 - 2.0 litres of mountain meadow mash with 1.5 times the amount (approx. 1.5 - 3.0 litres) of hot water (no boiling necessary) Let it steep for approx. 15 - 20 minutes before feeding, then stir well and give it lukewarm (do a heat test). For the summer version, mix the mountain meadow mash in the same proportions but with cold water, let it steep for about 20 minutes and stir well.
