The Höveler OldieMix feed is designed for the special nutritional needs of older horses. The feed is made with hydrothermally treated cereals so that the small intestines can fully utilise their starch. The mix also supports digestion. The raw materials used in the recipe were selected due to the fact that they are very compatible with each other. Additionally, the nutrients in the feed are specially tailored to the needs of older horses. The high glucose content and sunflower oil provide quickly available energy to picky eaters.

Vegetable oils were included in the feed to ensure that it is dust free, making it suitable for horses with allergies. The absence of pellets and the high percentage of flakes make the feed easy to chew, even for older horses.

The active ingredients ensure that older horses get the appropriate amounts of minerals, trace elements and vitamins. In particular, the OldieMix contains the phosphorous that older horses need.

Feeding recommendation (per 100 kg body weight):

• Low energy needs: 100 g
• For light energy needs: 250 g
• For medium energy needs: 500 g
• Daily hay ration: 1 - 1.5 kg
