Getting the correct dosage of magnesium is extremely important for the health of our four-legged friends. A magnesium deficiency can impair coordination and promote frightful and nervous reactions in horses, especially in stressful situations.
The magnesium by Derby can counteract deficiencies caused by stress and can promote healthy metabolism in stressful situations. Unfamiliar situations (competitions) or grazing can be stressful for your horse.
Feeding recommendation per horse and day:
Body weight:
- 200 kg: 20 g
- 400 kg: 40 g
- 600 kg: 60 g
- DERBY® Magnesium should be fed approx. 7-10 days before special stressful situations.
- Recommended feeding duration: 2-4 weeks.
- It is recommended to seek the advice of a specialist before feeding.
